Candle Care:
To enjoy your candle safely and get the longest, most even burn:
- First Burn: Allow your candle to burn for 2–3 hours, or until the entire top layer of wax is melted. This helps prevent tunneling and sets the memory of the wax.
- Burn Time: After the first use, limit each burn to no more than 3 hours at a time.
- Trim the Wick: Keep your wick trimmed to about ¼ inch before lighting to reduce smoke and ensure a clean, steady flame.
- Wick Position: After extinguishing, check that the wick is upright and centered. This helps your candle burn evenly and keeps the glass from overheating.
- Burn to the Base Safely: Always stop burning when ¼ inch of wax remains. Without this layer, the glass can become too hot and may crack.
